A colourful afternoon tea fit for a Mad Hatter’s tea party and inspired by the novel ‘Alice’s Adventures in
Wonderland’ is available throughout March in The Winery at The Langham.
The five-star hotel’s signature afternoon tea has been given a makeover for the month. The Wonderland Afternoon Tea is served on a three-tiered cake stand with a range of exotic teas and espresso coffee. It includes chocolate sludge cake, fresh fruit tartlets, pink frosted cupcakes, chocolate-dipped strawberries, petite macaroons and hand made truffles. Dainty sandwiches on multi-coloured breads of pink, green and yellow have been created for the experience. Guests are encouraged to wear a hat when they visit The Langham in March befitting of a true Mad Hatter’s tea party. Daily spot prizes are being given away to add to the fun.
The Wonderland Afternoon Tea runs until March 31 and is a treat for both adults and children. Available daily in The Winery from noon until 1630, the cost is $36 per adult and $18 for children under the age of 12 years old.
