 Tourism New Zealand (TNZ) has welcomed news of the recent signing of the memorandum of understanding (MOU) between Indonesian carrier Garuda Airlines and Auckland International Airport.

 Air Pacific (FJ), Fiji’s international airline, is offering fares of $193 (inclusive of taxes) one-way between Auckland and Nadi, and has slashed fares from Christchurch. The sale ends at midnight on 23 April 2012 and fares are valid for travel between 24 April to 15 June 2012.

 Air New Zealand (NZ) has added seven Thursday services to its Rotorua-Sydney schedule over the peak summer months. The new flights will be included in the flight schedule from 20 December to 31 January, 2013 and are in addition to the existing Tuesday and Saturday Sydney to Rotorua return flights.

 Air New Zealand (NZ) is offering $100 off airfares when booked as a return journey from domestic airports in New Zealand to all of their Australian destinations for sales until March 21.

 Singapore Airlines (SQ) will change from the current B777-200 (retro-fitted) aircraft to a B777-200ER on the Auckland-Singapore-Auckland route (SQ281 and SQ282) from July 1. The change is a result of crew operational requirements and is also the aircraft type and product that is being operated on flights to and from Christchurch.
