Creative's Bali program gives back

Creative Holidays has released its new 2012 Bali program, featuring a diverse and extensive range of accommodation options and sightseeing plus the opportunity for travellers to give back to the local community through the Bali Kids charity.

“Given the news of Air New Zealand’s new twice-weekly, non-stop services to Bali ex Auckland from June, the timing of the release of our program is perfect for Kiwi agents and their customers wanting to book their winter escapes now,” says Creative Holidays Managing Director Paul McGrath.

“Bali has long been a popular destination for Kiwi travellers due to its value for money and demand for the destination will only grow given the direct air link. Creative Holidays has a long association with Bali and agents will find an unrivalled range of product online at www.creativeholidays.com.”

McGrath says Creative’s accommodation options for 2012 include private homes as well something to suit all types of travellers including families, couples, foodies and those seeking the ultimate luxurious holiday as well as more four and five-star properties, particularly in the quieter areas of Bali.

“These properties, such as the Uma Ubud and Como Shambala in Ubud, The St. Regis in Nusa Dua and the Karma Kandara in Uluwatu offer the perfect combination of luxury and privacy, perfect for those seeking a romantic retreat or just an escape from the stress of everyday life.

“For the budget-conscious, there are a number of fantastic and affordable additions to the 2012 program including The Losari and Maharata Bali Hotel in Legian and the Vira Bali in South Kuta. These properties are particularly suited to the ever-growing number of families travelling to Bali who are looking for great value and quality properties that are close to a host of sightseeing, shopping and attractions.”

Creative Holidays also offers travellers a large selection of sightseeing, adventure and experiential activities to choose from ranging from cooking classes and tropical treks to elephant safaris and spa indulgences as well as a VIP Arrival service, which expresses the immigration and customs process.

For bookings, agents can log on to iCreate or talk to the Creative reservations consultants directly on 0800 652 441. Visit: www.creativeholidays.com to see Creative Holidays’ full range of destinations and products.

Bali Kids initiative
Established in 2005, Bali Kids is a local project that provides health, education and clinic services to more than 6,000 disadvantaged children across Bali. Bali Kids offers a wealth of services which are available via a mobile and in-house medical clinic, a care centre for children in need of full-time accommodation and various other outreach services.
“As one of the leading destinations for Creative Holidays, we are pleased to be giving back to the community by supporting Bali Kids, and to be offering clients the opportunity to do the same,” says McGrath.

Bali Kids has outgrown its present limited facility and therefore Creative Holidays is helping to raise awareness and generate funds for this worthwhile project by facilitating a voluntary donation of $1 per person (adults and children) from all its passengers travelling to Bali. The monies collected will be used to support and maintain a much-needed new medical and support centre, due to open in early 2012.  The new facility will provide vital medical and dental care, as well as accommodation for at least 60 children.

Donations are entirely optional and will be collectively contributing to a truly worthwhile cause.
