Topdeck is giving away a 19-day adventure through South Africa, Namibia, Botswana and Zambia to celebrate the launch of its Africa programme.
Travellers are being invited to download a Big Five animal mask from the Topdeck website, strike a pose and then upload their photo on the Topdeck Facebook wall with the caption ‘Wild About Topdeck Africa’.
The best image will win a 19-Day Desert Tracker adventure featuring cultural encounters in Cape Town and the Kalahari Desert and incredible scenery including canyons, deserts, coastlines, waterfalls and mountains. Return flights are included.
Other prizes include Lonely Planet guides, tickets to the Lion King, Topdeck travel vouchers, zoo tickets and more. The competition closes 29 February 2012.
“Topdeck is wild about Africa and this competition is a fun way to share our excitement about our new programme,” Topdeck sales manager Ben Ittensohn said.
“Topdeck is the only youth brand operating trips for 18 to 39 year olds through Africa, offering everything from gorilla trekking to game drives in search of the ‘Big Five’ and encounters with local tribes.”
The youth travel brand is offering 20 overland trips ranging from 7 to 58 days.
They include the 14-day Gorilla Encounter; the 22-day Zanzibar, Victoria Falls and Kruger; and the 58-day Ultimate Africa Overlander.
Prize winners will be announced within two weeks of the competition closure date. Entries have already started rolling in and include a tree-climbing rhinoceros and a lion posing with a real zebra.
