New World Journeys for 2012

World Journeys (WJ) has just released their new 2012 brochure for tailor-made travel with three new destination offerings – Antarctica, Israel and Lebanon.

WJ director Chris Lyons said this year the specialist wholesaler has refined its focus and product into “our best ever collection of personal favourite destinations, experiences, hotels and packages”, but said the extensive package list is only a snapshot of what they can do for clients.

“There is a big range of suggested itineraries but we’re very happy to tailor make itineraries to any of the destinations, either incorporating what’s already in the package and adapting it, or just starting from scratch.”

He said the team are excited about the new destinations which came after WJ were flooded with requests for the product.

“We used to feature Israel and has sold very strongly in recent years,” said Lyons. “Right now it is unaffected by any unsettlement in the region and we’ve decided to put it back in after we were getting so many requests for it.”

He said the same applies for Lebanon which hasn’t had any tourist problems of late.

“Lebanon is a jewel in the crown in terms of history and it’s also a very scenic little country and one that we’re getting many enquiries for,” said Lyons.

Other destinations covered in the 2012 brochure include those in Europe, China, Vietnam and Indochina, India, Africa, North Africa, the Arabian Peninsula and Iran, Canada and Alaska, and Central and South America.

“We feature some really unique options and can offer anything from 3-star to 6-star,” said Lyons. “WJ is all about tailor-making travel to suit the client, so we can recommend boutique properties in central locations for those wanting an authentic local feel, rustic wilderness lodges for nature lovers, or six-star spa resorts for those wanting to be pampered.”

Newly featured Antarctic cruise options are aboard the expedition style M/V Antarctic Dream, or the all-suite Corinthian II.

Other new product includes luxury train journeys in Spain, gulet sailing in Turkey, boutique Mekong River cruising, a new lodge in the Atacama Desert, a remote Bear Camp in Alaska, and more.

“We urge agents to get this new brochure into the hands of their clients,” said Lyons. “The images are very inspiring, so agents mustn’t hesitate to give these out to clients and order more, or indeed order a supply for a direct mailing to top clients”.

Brochures were distributed last week, but further copies can be ordered from www.brochurenet.co.nz
