This year’s St. Patrick’s Festival is taking place in Dublin from Friday March 12 to Wednesday March 17.

In its 15^th year, St. Patrick’s Festival is not only an occasion for Irish people and tourists to mark the National holiday in March, but also returns an estimated €58.3 million to the Irish economy.

More than one million people are expected to take part in Festival events over the six days and nights in celebration of Irish-ness and it also brings a whole host of free entertainment to the streets of Dublin.

The Festival finale on St. Patrick’s Night (March 17) is a performance by contemporary traditional music in Ireland, Dónal Lunny in “A Celebration of Irish Voices” at the National Concert Hall and Kíla at the Olympia.
