Going green!

This year’s St. Patrick’s Festival is taking place in Dublin from Friday March 12 to Wednesday March 17.

In its 15th year, St. Patrick’s Festival is not only an occasion for Irish people and tourists to mark the National holiday in March, but also returns an estimated €58.3 million to the Irish economy.

More than one million people are expected to take part in Festival events over the six days and nights in celebration of Irish-ness and it also brings a whole host of free entertainment to the streets of Dublin.

The Festival finale on St. Patrick’s Night (March 17) is a performance by contemporary traditional music in Ireland, Dónal Lunny in “A Celebration of Irish Voices” at the National Concert Hall and Kíla at the Olympia.
