This week nearly 30,000 New Zealanders get a first 'scent' of P&O Cruises' Pacific Pearl, and some will also get a VIP taste of the ship.
Past and prospective P&O Cruises' passengers will receive an air freshener in the shape of Pacific Pearl to hang in their car, with a coconut lime fragrance.
Recipients get the opportunity to save 60 per cent off the full fare on Pacific Pearl's maiden South Pacific voyage departing on December 22 and also have the chance to win one of 50 double passes to a VIP lunch and sneak preview of the ship on December 21, before the official naming ceremony.
Pacific Pearl is the first superliner to be based in Auckland and arrives on December 18. Prior to her arrival in New Zealand, the Pearl will undergo refurbishments in Singapore including installation of the ‘Big Screen’ on its pool deck.
The Big Screen will showcase everything from sports events, new-release movies and scenic destination images to P&O Cruises’ own daily TV show.
Passengers can get a sneak peek of Pacific Pearl’s highlights prior to her launch by following the ship’s blog at: http://pacificpearl.pocruises.com.au.
